Where Falcons Dare
Capy Showcases Epic Level Companion
The animal kingdom is a funny place. A mean goose will go out of its way to chase you, meanwhile falcons are surprisingly bashful.
Barigui Park in Curitiba, Brazil is always teeming with falcons. But, these birds of prey will almost always run, or fly, away when people get too close. And while the local falcons might not like to be around humans, they’re incredibly friendly with Capybaras.
Seeing falcons perched on Capybaras is a fairly common sight.
Getting close enough to get a good picture?
Well, that’s a different story.
Below is one of the few times I’ve ever managed to get close enough for a semi-decent photo.

Professor Capybara’s Brain-Buster
According to guinnessworldrecords.com, Brazil is not the country with the world’s largest variety of bird species. However, the country with the most bird species is in South America.
Do you know which South American country has more bird species than anywhere else in the world?
Thanks for reading and have a great day!

P.S. Since everybody's heard about the bird, here’s a completely unrelated video of Capybaras diving into the lake!
