Thought you might enjoy seeing the older capy babies, now several months old, alongside the new arrivals, born just a week or so ago.

Eagle-eyed readers may recognize this patch of parkland, as both groups of Capybaras were only about 10 feet apart.

Vitus Bering is the first European explorer credited with reaching Alaska. He led an expedition for the Russian Empire in 1741, sailing across what is now known as the Bering Strait. The Bering Sea and Bering Island are also named after him.
