Too Cold For Capybaras!
At Least The Sun Is Out
Freidrich Nietzsche said, “Under peaceful conditions, the warlike man attacks himself.“
And Dale Carnegie once suggested that, “Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage.”
Without boring you, I had a two week period with nothing to do. So, I decided to visit a small town in rural Paraguay and film as much CapyTube content as possible. One surprise upon arriving was how cold the weather gets! We’re talking near freezing temperatures (1° C / 34° F) every night. And, cold enough to see your breath for most of the morning.
While the local Capybaras are doing well despite the weather, they aren’t particularly interested in swimming. At least not until it warms up in the late afternoon.

In the morning, the capys are nestled up on shore, basking in the dawn light to stay warm.
And while this area’s capys aren’t friendly enough to pet, they’re still Capybaras. Which means you can sit on a bench right next to these gentle giants while they’re snoozing in the sunshine.
The CapyTube Merch Store Proudly Presents:
Capybara Update!!!
As mentioned earlier, local temperatures warm up significantly during the day. And that same capy who was chilly at 8 AM was happily swimming around the lake by noon.

By midday, the weather’s improved and all the capys are happily swimming and grazing the park!
Thanks for reading and have a great day!
