Another Trip Back In Time
Here’s another old picture I took back in 2021, right around the end of August.
With seasons reversed in the Southern Hemisphere, August is the last month of winter. Luckily, it was fairly warm that day. Warm enough for the capys to all unwind in their giant mud puddle.
An interesting little side note, the Capybaras make these mud wallows themselves. And, being covered in mud acts as something of a natural sunscreen / insect repellent.
