Good morning!

There are two Capybaras who live in the park in Villarrica, Paraguay.

Mandy is the friendly capy who has appeared in many pictures and videos. The other capy, a rugged individualist, avoids people and spends time alone in a swampy area of the park.

It’s usually difficult to get up close and photograph this bashful bara, but I managed to take this picture…

Do you like moles?

Alongside Capybaras, they’re one of my favorite animals.

One of the many interesting things about moles is their incredible tunneling ability. Depending on soil conditions, a mole can tunnel through the ground at a rate of up to 15 feet per hour!
