They must’ve gone for a swim earlier, because that hair is super poofy.

Sea otters have the densest fur in the animal kingdom. By some estimates, they pack up to ~150,000 hairs per square centimeter. Why such thick coats? They don’t have blubber, so they rely on dense fur to stay warm.
