A 65-Year-Old Beverage Recipe Worth Trying Today
Grazing in the grass and rubbing your nose on everything must get itchy after a while.
This Capybara has taken a break from its late-afternoon snack to lie down and scratch its nose. Watching animals satisfy itches is a great reminder that human hands are a luxury.

The CapyTube Merch Store Proudly Presents:
Hot Dr Pepper for Breakfast?
In the 1950s, the Dr Pepper Company wanted to create a hot beverage for wintertime, something people could drink at holiday parties.
Their creation?
Hot Dr Pepper.
According to the company, Dr Pepper is “delicious served steaming hot” and “so easy to prepare.”
Here’s the recipe:
Heat Dr Pepper or Diet Dr Pepper in a saucepan until it steams.
Pour over thin slices of lemon.
As a soda fan, I decided to recreate the recipe, enjoying a steaming cup of Hot Dr Pepper for breakfast — served in a CapyTube mug, of course.
As a one-time novelty drink, it’s pretty good!
If you want to try something weird but good this winter, Hot Dr Pepper is a spicy, citrusy treat.
Thanks for reading and serendipitous day!
