Capys Really Like This One Patch Of Grass!
São Paulo’s Toronto City Park covers an area of roughly 120,891.38 square meters.
Yet the Capybaras always seem to concentrate in just a few select locations. They hang out on their island when the weather is hot. They graze by the walking paths when park attendance is low and there aren’t too many people on the trails. And they enjoy grazing near the entrance to the park’s elevated walking path whenever they get hungry.

Here are three large capys grazing away, right near the path’s entrance.

One capy got itchy and took a break from snacking to scratch itself.

Did You Know…
The word Smörgåsbord literally means “sandwich table.”
“Smörgås” = open-faced sandwich
“Bord” = table
The concept spread globally during the 1939 New York World's Fair. After that, buffet restaurants around the world began copying the idea.
Explore Peru with purpose
See Peru through the eyes of the women who call it home on Intrepid’s brand-new Women’s Expedition.
With an expert local leader out front and a small group of like-minded travellers by your side, this trip gives you a unique insight into Peru’s culture and traditions.
Part of Intrepid’s Women’s expedition range, this eight-day adventure has been thoughtfully designed to support local women in tourism while delivering immersive experiences specifically for women travellers.
You’ll traverse the lesser-known Chinchero to Urquillos trail in the Peruvian Andes alongside an all-female crew, spend time in an Andean village learning about daily life, take part in a traditional textile workshop led by local women and experience a spiritual cleansing ritual guided by a female shaman.
As always, thank you for reading, and have a super day!
