I hope your day is off to a great start.

Just wanted to share this picture and the story behind it…

It was cold, windy, and damp outside. I was about to head home to warm up. No capys in sight.

Then, I spotted the herd. They were grazing in an obscure area where I hadn’t seen them before. As soon as I approached, this Capybara got visibly excited and rolled right over for tickles. No hesitation at all. In about two seconds flat, the whole day was instantly better.

It’s always incredible to see how animals recognize familiarity and kindness, and just how much they improve our lives in return.
