They say never to get between a lioness and her cubs.

Maybe there should be a similar saying about Capybaras.

While at the park yesterday, I watched this protective mother charge at another adult Capybara and chase it away from the herd.

Neither Capybara was hurt, or even made physical contact, but the intrusive capy got quite the scare!
