A fall sunset in Curitiba.
Capybaras graze across the marshland. If you squint, you can just make out their outlines.

Fortunately, another group of Capybaras was much closer. This big bara even “spiked” the camera by looking directly into it. A faux pas in Hollywood, but a welcome treat out here in nature.

Did You Know…
The Canary Islands are not named after the bird.
Their name actually comes from the Latin phrase Canariae Insulae, meaning “Islands of the Dogs.” Even more confusing, the canary bird is named after the islands, not the other way around.
