Here’s a picture and a little backstory…

I recently visited a small town in rural Paraguay, and this town has a lake nearby. A couple Capybaras live around the lake. And one of the capys saw people relaxing on the shore and decided to swim over and look at them!

Did you know that there is a town in Paraguay named after Capybaras?

Capiíbary is a small town of about 4,000 people. And, it’s named after the “Capiibary River” which is, in turn, named after Capybaras.
