It’s Christmas vacation in Brazil and that means the parks are packed. As such, Capybaras are sticking to remote corners far from any crowd.

Yesterday, for instance, all the capys were grazing a swampy marshland area.

Yours truly got up close, teetering on the brink of the bog, and snapped this picture.

While in the park yesterday, I spotted another group of Capybaras goofing off. They were running around, jumping into the lake, and generally having a great time together.
