Capys Grazing By The Highway

Plus A Cute Bunny Picture!

Like New York City, São Paulo is a major urban center located in a state that shares its name. And like New York State, the state of São Paulo is surprisingly rural.

You don’t have to travel far outside the city to see farms, forests, and open fields.

Driving through the countryside, I had Capybaras on the brain and kept thinking I spotted some grazing along the roadside.

One “Capybara” turned out to be a strangely shaped sign. Another was a giant anthill.

Disappointing, but capys really do graze near roads and highways.

Here are some chowing down near a major route in Curitiba.

Calm in the water, calm on land, calm even near traffic. Capybaras are truly unflappable.

Here’s A Cute Bunny

While out in the countryside, I stopped by a farm with several adorable animals, including this rabbit.

It was very friendly and immediately hopped closer to inspect the camera.

Thank you for reading and have a great day!
