Best Weather For Seeing Capybaras?
Come For The Capy Pic, Stay For The Giraffe Fact
There’s a cold spell this week, which could only mean one thing…
It was time to grab my trusty cardigan and spend all day outside, filming Capybaras!
Here are some of the capys I photographed the other day…

When the weather is hot, the capys spend their time in the water. This makes it difficult to get close to the Capybaras. It also makes filming near impossible, since the capys are often so far away that any footage of them is extremely grainy.
It’s often easier to see Capybaras and get up close to them when the weather is cool, as opposed to hot summer days where the capys all want to relax in the lake.
