Capys Make The Most Of A Mushy, Wet Park
Many of Brazil’s parks have a secret double life…
They’re built in flood zones, designed to soak up excess rainwater and protect nearby homes and buildings.
After a heavy storm in the greater Sao Paulo area, the usually dry grass of Parque Centenario turned into a miniature wetland. Bad news for anyone hoping to keep their shoes dry. But good news for the local Capybaras who were happily splashing through puddles and playing on the muddy ground.
