After The Park Closes
What Do Capybaras Do When No One Is Around?
Sao Paulo’s “Parque Cidade de Toronto” has a strict closing time.
Once 6 PM rolls around, the gates are shut and locked.
One evening, I happened to be walking past the park after it had closed.
Through the fence, I spotted a group of local Capybaras lounging on the park’s main trail.
When the joggers, walkers, and yours truly go home, the capys like to indulge themselves by sprawling across the park paths and reclaiming their little slice of paradise.

Did You Know…
Do you like pancakes?
If you do, you may be surprised to learn that people have been enjoying pancakes for an extremely long time. How long? There's scientific evidence that people were eating pancakes way back in the Stone Age over 30,000 years ago!
Thank you for reading and have a great day!
