A Tale Of Two Capys
Also, A Fun Fact!
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times (at least for vampires who wanted to go to the park, since they’d obviously explode in direct sunlight), it was the age of Capybaras.
Here are two very different-looking capys.
Both were photographed just a few hundred feet apart in Barigui Park on the exact same day. One has a sleek, brownish-red coat.

The other is a light tan, khaki color.

Did You Know…
“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times…” is one of the most quoted opening lines in English literature. It comes from Charles Dickens’ A Tale of Two Cities.
Dickens’ 1843 novella, A Christmas Carol, also had a lasting impact on popular culture. It helped popularize the phrase “Merry Christmas,” turning it into a common holiday greeting.
Thank you for reading, and have a great day!
